The photography process from meeting to delivery and beyond
So, what does choosing me as your photographer look like?Establishing a connection and being transparent is the key to capturing the best photographs together, so I'm laying out all the cards here.

Step 1
The Consultation Call
The first thing we'll do after you inquire with me is set up a consultation call before the session. I have two major goals for this call: learn all I can about you and the crew we'll be making photos with and iron out all the details of the session.
Making great photographs is all about connection and in order to help show those connections, I have to know more about you! Personalities, likes and dislikes, your family's origin story. The more I can learn, the better!
And of course, nothing helps sessions go smoothly like a good plan, so let's make one! We'll get the when's, where's, and how's all settled so everyone knows exactly what is expected. Plus, we'll likely talk clothing, coordination, props, and anything else that goes into the session.
If we both feel like its a good fit, we'll nail down a date for your session and move on to the next step.
Step 2
Hand shakes and high fives
We like each other and we have a date on the books! Time for the all the technical bits; don't worry, I make it very easy.
You'll get an email from me with everything you need to know about these next steps and exactly what needs to be done. The contract and the invoice both online and available for you to smoothly complete. You can commit to a collection here or wait to make that decision later. You'll also get a calendar invite for our session date, the best ways to reach out if you need questions answered, guidance given, or just to say hi.
I'll keep the lines of communication open too, so you know that I'm still thinking about our session together. Finally, I'll send you a reminder a week out and the day before the date, just in case!
Step 3
Photo party time!
Here's the fun part!
We'll meet for our photo session where I'll guide you through prompts and let you family be their natural awesome selves. We'll be chatting, playing games, making smiles, and snapping photographs left and right.
After the session, we'll make plans to meet again either in person or virtually to reveal the results (this is my favorite part!)
Step 4
Photograph Delivery Time!
Our next meeting will be about two weeks after the session. Come prepared with snacks and watch all that magic come to life. We'll reminisce, you can pick out your favorites, and we can finalize your collection choices.
I'll need a couple of days to get your selections ordered and then I'll get them out to you. If you're local, I'll ship them to myself for quality review and then hand deliver them at a time that's right for you. If you're not local, I ship them straight your way. In either case, you'll get the same care and quality guarantee.

As to your investment, you've got several options!
During the consultation call, we'll review all your collection options; what is included, all the costs, everything that is available.
But in general, the session fee is $200 and the average client spends around $1350-$1800 all together.
